2.3.5 Relay Operating Condition
The equipment should be operated within the specified electrical and environmental limits.
2.3.6 Current Transformer (CT) Circuit
Without proper shorting, don’t open secondary of live CT. if not shorted properly, due to high
induced voltage, there is damage to insulation and lethal to human also.
2.3.7 Insulation and dielectric strength testing
During Insulation testing, capacitive voltage increases up to hazardous level. so at the end of
each test of insulation, voltage should be gradually reduce to zero to discharge capacitor
voltage.
2.3.8 Cables and Connectors
This section describes the type of wiring and connections that should be used while installing
the device. For pin-out details please refer to the wiring diagrams.
Caution: Before carrying out any work on the equipment, user should be
familiar with the Safety Section and the ratings on the
equipment’s rating label.
