1 INTRODUCTION AND SPECIFICATIONS
1.1 Overview
ADR233B ADITYA series relay has been Designed and produced by ASHIDA. It is Economical
and reliable Multifunction Transformer Protection Relay. Its construction is simple and compact.
It provides integrated protection, Control and Monitoring functions for AC Transformer.
The ADR233B relay available in three versions: Basic, Enhanced and Modular versions.

• Non Directional Phase & Ground Over current Protection (50/50N/51/51N).

• Three Stages of Non Directional Internally Derived (3I0>) and Externally Measured (IE>)
Ground over current protection (50N/51N).
• Three independent Stages of Positive / Negative Sequence Over current Protection (46).
• 10 no’s of International standard (IEC, IEEE, UK & US) Inverse Definite Minimum Time
(IDMT) selectable Curves are available for Over Current Protection.
• Harmonic Blocking & Unblocking feature.
