General Troubleshooting Tips
The following table lists general troubleshooting tips.
You must always have two power supplies installed on the Cisco ASR 1000 Series Routers to ensure
sufficient cooling for the box. The system fans are inside the power supply and must spin for cooling.
Since all the system fans can be powered by one power supply, it is not required for the second power
supply to be powered on, but it must be installed.
