UKs refers to universal keys. UKs are represented on the touch screen grid when the editor is
active. UKs are also displayed on the external monitor in views 7 through 9.
Select key refers to the blank (multi-purpose) keys above the playbacks and crossfader and
looks like this:
SELECT.
Desk, console, and system are used interchangeably.
Storing and programming are used interchangeably.
Dlite offers a variety of procedure syntaxes to suit each programmer’s preference. When basic
procedures are introduced, various procedure syntaxes are explained separately. In subsequent
procedures, more general terminology is used. Example: When first discussed, the procedure
for storing a scene is shown using 4 different syntaxes. In subsequent procedures, which
include storing a scene, general language (such as, “Store the scene) is used.
Procedures often contain different options for the same step. They look like this:
1 Do this.
Or
Do this
Sometimes an alternate procedure is included under the same heading. In this case, it looks
like this:
1 Do this.
2 Now do this.
OR
1 Do this.
2 And do this.
