Appendix B Master/Slave Tracking Back Up
About master/slave tracking back up
Use a second Dlite console as a slave or back up console.
In slave mode, the console does not transmit VC's. In case of master console failure, or loss of
connection, the slave begins transmitting VC’s.
On start up, the consoles do not automatically synchronize, therefore you must load the show
running on the master to the slave console.
All operations performed on the master console are reproduced on the slave console in real time.
This includes:
Playback commands
Storing objects
Triggering snaps
Saving shows
IMPORTANT! Master and slave settings are not saved in the show. Each time the show
is loaded, it is necessary to re-establish the master/slave settings.
The master /slave settings remain if the console is simple turned off and restarted.
