Patching
The DMX address patch is displayed.
2 Enter the dimmer number in either #/# (Universe/Address) or ### (DMX address) format.
3 Press
ENTER.
4 The requested dimmer is displayed on a dark field.
To jump to a DMX universe
Use the wheels to jump the display to the next DMX universe.
1 Press
DIM.
The DMX address patch is displayed.
2 Press wheel 2 or wheel 3.
3 The display jumps to the next DMX universe.
Selecting dimmer numbers
Dimmer numbers can be entered as an absolute number of the DMX universe number and then,
separated by the slash, the dimmer number.
Use
NEXT and PREV to select the dimmer before or after the currently selected dimmer.
If the current selection is a range of dimmers, the selection continues from the last dimmer in
the range.
If current selection is the last dimmer in a DMX universe, PREV only is available.
If current selection is the first dimmer in a DMX universe, NEXT only is available.
Patching fixtures
Patching can be done using the console keypad or use the grid display which allows you to view the
current patch while working.
To patch a single fixture
Example: Patch channel fixture 5 to DMX address port 1 dimmer 50.
1 Press
CHANNEL and 5 to select the channel.
2 Press
DIM.
3 Enter the dimmer number on the numeric keypad.
Wheel What happens
2 (SCROLL DMX)
• Jump to the first address in the next DMX universe.
• If the last universe is displayed, pressing wheel 2 jumps to the first
universe.
3 (PAGE)
• Jump to the parallel address in the next DMX universe.
• If the last universe is displayed, pressing wheel 3 jumps to the first
universe.
