Selecting Fixtures and Setting Levels
Selecting fixtures on the external monitor
Fixtures can be selected on the external monitor also.
To select fixtures on the external monitor
Click the spot, channel, or extra on the external monitor.
When selected, channel numbers appear on a brown field, spot numbers have a + (plus
sign.
To select a range of fixtures on the external monitor
1 Click the first spot, channel, or extra in the range.
2 Press and hold
SHIFT.
3 Click the last fixture in the range.
When selected, channel numbers appear on a brown field, spot numbers have a + (plus
sign.
To remove a fixture from the selection
Again click the spot, channel, or extra on the external monitor.
Filtering selections
You can filter selections by using the EVERY options. The EVERY button is available, on the touch
screen, in fixture mode (after pressing
CHANNEL, SPOT, or EXTRA).
You can further refine the selection fixtures that are active in the editor by using
ACTIVE
(see “Using Active to select fixtures” page 153.

EVERY
Opens filter options
ODDS
Selects every other fixture, within the designated range, starting with the
first fixture.
Example1: The range 1 thru 8 is selected. Tapping
ODDS selects 1, 3, 5,
and 7.
Example 2: The range 2 thru 8 is selected. Tapping
ODDS selects 2, 4, 6,
and 8.
EVENS
Selects every other fixture, within the designated range, starting with the
second fixture.
Example1: The range 1 thru 8 is selected. Using
EVENS selects 2, 4, and
6.
Example 2: The range 2 thru 8 is selected. Using
EVENS selects 3, 5, and
7.
THIRD
Selects every third fixture, within the designated range, starting with the
first fixture.

Advance selection by a specified increment.
Example: 4 / 2, selects the second fixture in each group of four fixtures.
Therefore: channel 1 g 20 every 4 / 2, selects channels 2, 6, 10, 14, and 18.
