Selecting Fixtures and Setting Levels
To select a sequential range of fixtures
SPOT (or CHANNEL, EXTRA), 1, , 24. Selects all the fixtures in the range.
To select a non-sequential range of fixtures
SPOT (or CHANNEL, EXTRA) or, 1, +, 6, +, 9. Selects fixtures 1, 6, and 9.
To remove fixtures from a range selection
SPOT, (or CHANNEL, EXTRA) 1, , 24, —, 12. Selects all fixtures in the range except 12.
To cancel the entire selection
1 Press
RESET.
To retrieve the last selection
1 Press the fixture type (channel, spot, or extra).
2 Press z. The fixtures in the last selection are now available for editing.
To select the next or previous fixture
Example: The previous selection was spot 10. Select spot 11 or spot 10.
1 Press
SPOT.
2 Press
NEXT or PREV.
If you pressed
NEXT, spot 11 is selected.
If you pressed
PREV, spot 10 is selected.
Note: Pressing
SHIFT + NEXT or SHIFT + PREV, adds the next or previous fixture to the
current selection. Example: If the current selection is spot 10, pressing
SHIFT +
NEXT adds spot 11 to the selection.
Selecting fixtures using the universal keys
A quick way to select fixtures is to use the U(niversal) K(eys).
ATTENTION! The faders must be in context mode.
To select fixtures
1 Press
MODE until context mode is active.
The green LED, located on the panel next to
Context, is on when context mode is selected.
2 Select the fixture type by pressing
CHANNEL, SPOT, or EXTRA.
3 Press the UKs that correspond to the fixture numbers.
The respective UK LEDs are blinking. The fixtures are selected in the editor and can be
edited.
To select a range of fixtures
1 Select the fixture type by pressing
CHANNEL, SPOT, or EXTRA.
