Fixtures and parameters that are active in the editor are stored in the step. There are a number of
store options available that grab output from the faders, playbacks, and crossfader when storing a
step. See “Using store options” on page 155.
Storing chases and chase steps on the playbacks
Chases and chase steps can be stored directly on the playbacks. If the playback is on, the step is
immediately output.
When storing a chases and chase steps on playbacks you can specify a chase and chase step
numbers using the keypad. If no number is specified, Dlite chooses the first available number.
When storing chases on playbacks, the chases start running immediately if the playback is on.
To store chases and steps using the playbacks
Example: Store a chase with steps 1 and 2 directly on playback 1.
1 Select fixtures and set levels.
2 Press
STORE.
3 Press
CHASE.
4 Optional - specify a chase number using the keypad. If no number is specified, Dlite
chooses the first available chase number.
5 Press the
SELECT key for playback 1.
The first available chase number is assigned to playback 1 and steps 1and 2 are stored. Step
2 is empty.
Chase Stored (#) is displayed.
6 To add content to step 2, select fixtures and set levels.
7 Press
STORE.
8 Press the same
SELECT key.
Step Stored (#2) is displayed.
9 To store the next step, select fixtures and set levels.
10 Repeat steps 6 through 8 until the chase is complete.
Dlite automatically increments the current step by 1.
