Forcing is the default trigger mode and uses the simplest procedure: SNAP, #, ENTER.
In the
System Options screen, you can change the default snap mode. The trigger mode set here will
use the simple snap triggering procedure.
To change the default snap mode
1 Press
SETUP.
2 Tap
SYSTEM OPTIONS.
3 Tap
BEHAVIOR.
4 Tap the
SNAP: (MERGE, WAIT until your choice is highlighted.
Note: When neither
MERGE nor WAIT is highlighted the snap is in forcing mode.
5 Tap
OK.
The key sequence
SNAP, #, ENTER will always behave according to the mode set in
System Options.

Merging
To trigger a merging snap
SNAP, #, SHIFT+ ENTER
Playback 12 is not released.
Scene 2 is loaded to playback 11.

Waiting
To trigger a waiting snap
SNAP, SNAP, #, ENTER
Note: In waiting mode, the SNAP
LED blinks.
Loading to active playbacks wait
until the playback is turned off by
pressing the On/Off key or
returning the slider to zero.
Shortcut to select
and trigger snaps
When the editor is idle, pressing PAGE DOWN or PAGE UP triggers the
next or previous snap. Example: Assuming snaps 9, 10 and 11 exist and
the current snap is snap 10, pressing
PAGE DOWN triggers snap 9 and
pressing
PAGE UP triggers snap 11.
The snap is triggered according to the default snap behavior as set
SYSTEM OPTIONS.
Example:
Snap 1 - Scene 1 on playback 12
Snap 2 - Scene 2 on playback 11
Snap 3 - Scene 3 on playback 12
Note: All the playbacks are on.
