7. Verify that the needle is centered over the inject port opening.
8. Adjust the alignment by changing the
X ADDRESS and/or Y ADDRESS values.
Change the values in two- to five-step increments.
After each value change, press
Enter. The needle arm moves up and then
adjusts to the new position.
• To move the needle to the right, increase the X ADDRESS value.
• To move the needle to the left, decrease the X ADDRESS value.
• To move the needle forward, increase the Y ADDRESS value.
• To move the needle back, decrease the Y ADDRESS value.
9. After each adjustment, move the cursor to the
Z ADDRESS field (keep the
value at
180) and press Enter. The needle arm moves back down. Observe the
alignment and adjust the position again if needed.
10. When the adjustments are complete, press
Home.
The needle arm moves to the home position.
11. Press
Enter.
12. Position the cursor in the
X or Y ADDRESS field and press Enter.
The needle arm moves to the selected position.
13. Recheck the alignment and adjust the
X or Y ADDRESS values, if necessary.
14. Position the cursor in the
Z ADDRESS field.
15. Enter the following value in the
Z ADDRESS field: 230.
16. Press
Enter.
The needle moves into the inject port.
17. Press
Home.
18. Press
Menu three times to return to the MENU of SCREENS.
