• If you enter an injection volume equal to or larger than the
installed loop size, the AS performs a full-loop (or large-loop)
injection.
• If you enter an injection volume smaller than the loop size, the
AS performs a partial-loop or partial-loop, limited-sample
injection.
3. Enter the cut volume
in the Chromeleon or Chromeleon Xpress
program (see Figure 3-17
) or on the SYSTEM PARAMETERS screen
(see Section C.6.5
).
NOTE The cut volume is used only for partial-loop or
partial-loop, limited-sample injections. For full-loop
or large-loop injections, the cut volume is ignored.
