1.2.3 Routes Shared between Routing Protocols
As the algorithms of various routing protocols are different, different routing protocols
may discover different routes. This brings about the problem of how to share the
discovered routes between routing protocols. The S5600 series can import (with the
import-route command) the routes discovered by one routing protocol to another
routing protocol. Each protocol has its own route redistribution mechanism. For detailed
information, refer to the description of importing external route in routing protocol
configuration of the following chapters.
