1. Call the nearest airport and obtain altitude at the current location and barometric pressure at the
time.
2. Turn master switch ON.
3. Adjust the Kollsman knob on the altimeter to math the barometric pressure.
4. Check the altimeter needle reading against current altitude to ensure it is within the allowed
tolerance shown in Table 13-3. If the reading is outside the tolerance, contact ICON for warranty,
remove and replace the altimeter. (See “Replace Instrument Panel Gauge” on page 13-26.)
5. Turn mater switch OFF.

VERIFICATION METHOD:
Ensure the altimeter reading is within tolerance at current location.

13.8.2.2 Pitot-Static-AOA Leak Troubleshooting
Use the following procedures to troubleshooting the Pitot-Static-AOA System in case of leak during
the Pitot-Static-AOA Leak Test. If the leak is not located at one of the following sections, locate the
leak section and replace tubing.
