displayorusingtheVALUEcontroller,justasin
Programmode.
TheKARMAmoduleandthetypeorvalueofthe
parameterbeingcontrolledbytheslidersand
switchesisshownintheKARMAModuleInfo
“KARMAValuefield.Thisletsyouseethe
KARMA
moduleandparametersthatarebeing
affectedbyyoursliderorswitchoperations.
4. UsethefrontpanelSCENE1–8switchestochoose
ascene.
ThischangesthescenefortheKARMAmodule(s)
selectedbytheMODULECONTROLswitch.
IfMODULECONTROLissettoMASTER,each
KARMAmodulewillchangetothe
scenethatis
savedasthemastersetting.
Eachoftheeightscenescontainsthevaluesof
sliders1–8andswitches1–8.BypressingaSCENE
1–8switchtochooseascene,youcaninstantlyrecall
settingsfortheeightslidersandeightswitches.
Evenifyouswitchscenes,thechangesyoumake
usingsliders1–8andswitches1–8areremembered
untilyouselectanothercombination.Whenyou
writeacombination,yoursliderandswitchsettings
aresavedintherespectivescene1–8.

CombinationP0:Play–KARMAGEpagedisplaysthe

1–8slidersandKARMASWITCHES.Thistellsyouthe
timbrewhosephraseisbeingcontrolledbythe

Ifmultipletimbresarebeingcontrolled
simultaneously,thiswillindicate[MLTI].

InCombinationmode,uptofourKARMAmodules
canbeoperatingsimultaneously.
IftheKARMAfunctionisoff,allKARMAmodules
willbestopped.IftheKARMAfunctionison,the
KARMAmodule(s)youspecifyherewilloperate.

2. Usethe“Run”and“Solo”
settingstospecifythe
module(s)thatwilloperatewhenKARMAison.
KARMAmoduleswhose“Run”settingisOn
(checked)willoperate.
Ifyouturn“Solo”On(checked),onlythatKARMA
modulewillsound.Thisisusefulwhenyouare
selectingaGE,orwhenyouwanttoauditionthe
phrasethat
amoduleisgenerating.
Moduleswhose“Solo”isOn(checked)willsound
evenif“Run”isOff(unchecked).
The“Solo”settingisclearedwhenyouswitchto
anothercombination.Itisnotsavedwhenyouwrite
thecombination.
