8.2 Transport
You should use the transport braces included in the original delivery
when transporting the ProtoMat
®
S62. If you no longer have these,
please ask LPKF Service about possible solutions for transportation.
Note: LPKF will not accept liability for damage caused by improper trans-
port protection.
Fitting transport braces
1. Carefully lift up the milling/drilling head and place the foam separa-
tor between the traversing/vacuum table and the milling/drilling
head.
2. Slide the cardboard strips between the milling/drilling head and the
housing and secure using adhesive tape.

8.3 Disposal
If you wish to dispose the ProtoMat
®
S62 or components of it, please
keep in mind that these are primarily recyclable materials and valuable
raw materials. You should also observe the information about disposing
of consumables in an environmentally-friendly way.
8.3.1 Machine parts and components
You must ensure compliance with national and local regulations govern-
ing the disposal of used electrical/electronic equipment or contact the
LPKF Service.
8.3.2 Consumables
Observe the national and local regulations governing the disposal of con-
sumables.
