8.2.5 Vertical Transport Mechanism
The vertical transport rollers [A] are driven by the main motor. The vertical
transport rollers, and the driven vertical transport rollers [B] on the vertical
transport door [C], transport the paper from the feed unit to the registration
rollers.
The transport door can be opened to access jammed paper in the vertical
transport area.
The vertical transport switch SW6 [D] detects whether the vertical transport
door is opened or not.
The vertical transport sensor [E] detects a paper jam at the vertical transport
section.
