This permits technicians to program the phone system, modify the customer
database or download (save) the entire customer database to a file. This file can be
saved as a back up and can be uploaded when required to restore the database.
The IS Tool can also be used to view the customer database offline, and to send
new loads of software upgrades to the MMC+ of a live system.
