3.1 Overview
Up
to 21 connections
to so-called logical drives (data carriers) can be configured. These drives
can be accessed in the "Program manager" and "Startup" operating areas.
The following logical drives can be set up:
● USB interface
● CompactFlash card
● Network drives
Software option
You will need the "Manage network drives" option to manage additional drives via
Ethernet.
3.2 Setting up drives
The "Setup Drives" window is available in the "Start-up" operating area for configuring the
softkeys in the Program Manager.

File
The created configuration data
is stored in the "logdrive.ini" file. This file is located in the /user/
sinumerik/hmi/cfg directory.
3.3 Setting EXTCALL
Using the EXTCALL command, a program on an external program memory can be called from
a part program.
EXTCALL does not need to be disabled.
