4. Determinewhetherthefiltercanberotated.
Ifthefilterwasnotpreviouslyrotated,rotateit180°,toptobottom
(seeFigure293onpage456).
Note: Whenyourotatethefilter,markitinsomewaysothatyoucan
tellataglancethenexttimeyouinspectthefilter.
Ifthefilterwasalreadyrotatedonce,youmustreplaceit.
5. Placetheairfilterovertheopeninginthebottomfrontoftheframe.
6. Useaflatheadscrewdrivertotightenthefourcaptivescrewstosecure
thefiltertotheframe(seeFigure293onpage456).
7. Useadryclothtowipeanyaccumulateddustofftheinsid eofthefilter
cover.
8. Positionthefiltercoveroverthefanassemblyandpushfirmlyinward
onthesidesofthecovertosnapitontotheballstudsextendingfrom
eachsideoftheframe.Assoonasthecov erisinposition,thefans
restart.
9. Ifnecessary,repeatStep1throughStep8foreachadditionalframein
thelibrary.
Make sure that you do not flip the filter over. Doing so places the dirty side of the air
filter toward the interior of the frame and results in the trapped contaminates being
blown into the library interior.
Make sure that the tab on the filter is pressing in on the filter sensor switch.
