WARNING: Check the points: the correct location of SpO2 sensor, the skin conditions, the
right attachment of SpO2 Sensor.
WARNING: Cover the SpO2 Sensor from the strong lights like Operational lamp, (element of
xenon gas), Bilirubin lights, fluorescent light, infrared light, and sun light.
CAUTION: Incorrect value or wave may be displayed when it is under misuse.
I. Unauthorized Sensor, or misusing the sensor.
II. SpO2 Sensor may be influenced from the strong lights like Operational lamp,
(element of xenon gas), Bilirubin lights, fluorescent light, infrared light, and sun light
and heating system.
III. When the patient move much.
IV. Defibrillator , Electro Surgical Unit with High Frequency may effect.
V. Venous Blood pulse
VI. Measuring at the location for blood pressure, compression bandage, arterial
catheter, inside of the blood vessel.
VII. When the patient has the followings : low blood pressure, serious vasoconstriction,
anemia, low temperature.
VIII. A coronary occlusion near SpO2 Sensor
IX. When the patient is under cardiac arrest, or shock.
CAUTION: Pulse signal may be incorrect under the following conditions.
I. When Sensor is too tightened.
II. Check the sensor sends the lights, correct location of sensor, no lights to the patient.
III. Low blood flow and low signal.
IV. Medical lights, Bilirubin light, or much sun lights to the sensors.
V. Measuring the legs or arms under the compression bandage, or cuffs
VI. Block the light signal by Manicure.
CAUTION: Correct value may be influenced by medical lights (Xenon light), bilirubin lights,
fluorescent lights, heating instrument, infrared lights.
CAUTION: SpO2 data may be not correct if the patient has the abnormal increase of
Oxyhemoglobin or Methemoglobin.
