PRESSURE Function
The INITIAL PRESSURE instructs the module to inflate to the specified pressure when starting
the next BP reading.
It is intended to be used for the first measurement on a patient or subject.
Subsequent measurements do not require the use of this command as the SunTech
Advantage OEM NIBP module automatically adjusts the next initial inflation based upon the
previous Systolic BP value.
An attempt to set the initial inflate to a value less than the minimum or greater than the
maximum will result in the value being set to the minimum or the maximum respectively.
Note that this command affects only the next BP reading.
Further BP measurement initial inflate values revert to the previous systolic value + 30 mmHg.
If an error occurred in the previous measurement, then the next initial inflate value will be
the default value unless it is set to some other value with this command.
Set the In INITIAL PRESSURE: 120~280 (Adult), 80~170 (Pediatric), 60~140 mmHg(Neonate)
Set the VENOUS STATSIS: 30~140 mmHg
UNIT Function
Change the unit if necessary : mmHg or kPa.
ALARM Function
ALARM has three kinds : SYS, DIA , MEAN , TYPE
NIBP measures the 3 different data. (SYS, DIA, MEAN). ALARM SET should be done for each
data.
⚫ High: 5~275.
⚫ Low: Off, 5~275.
⚫ Type: High Medium, Low, Off.
TREND Function
The function of supplying the stored Trend Data on the screen.
