21. NIBP Monitoring
Description of warning and caution
WARNING: Use only authorized NIBP Cuff supplied by the manufacture. Incorrect or damage
may occur with others.
WARNING: Do not use with other Hear, Lung measuring equipment.
WARNING: VM15 may not work with the patient who have cramps.
WARNING: When measuring the new patient, please reset the alarm.
WARNING: Use NIBP Cuff only for measuring blood pressure. No measurement at the
upper part of arm when the artificial sap or catheter is inserted into the blood vessel.
WARNING: Check the right size of NIBP Cuffs for Adult or Neonate before measurement.
WARNING: Do not put the Cuff at the end of intravenous injection or blood measured parts.
WARNING: Do not place the heavy materials on the Hose.
WARNING: Keep the Hose not to be twisted during the use or keeping.
WARNING: Incorrect measured value may happen if the NIBP Cuff is not proper size not
propyl tightened with the patients.
Incorrect measured value may happen if the Cuff and Hose are damaged or due to the much
movement of the patient.
Connect NIBP Cuff at the same level of Heart if possible.
WARNING: VM15 NIBIP Cuff can be affected by the ischemia, purpura, neuropathy because
VM15 adapt oscillometric method for NIBP measurement.
Check the part of the body connected with cuffs during the measuring process.
WARNING: Check the blood circulation of the patient when the cuff is connected.
The color of skin may be changed if the blood circulation is not normal.
WARNING: Do not measure NIBP with Cuff to the patients who are under intravenous
infusion or may have the critical influence with blood circulation.
WARNING: Select NIBP Mode for Neonate or Adult according to the patient.
WARNING: Measuring time may be longer than normal case if the patient has arrhythmia.
WARNING: Auto Function will be off if the user changes the interval set during the automatic
measurement.
