Connection of Accessory
Connection with VM15
I. Connect Extention cable to the qCON socket located at the qCON Moudule box. It
is Gray colour.
II. Connect EEG Cable to the Extention cable.
III. Put the EEG electrode to the patient like Figure 28-1.

qCON: index of anesthetic depth.
SQI (Signal quality index): quality indicator signal. During acquisition this value should remain
as high as possible (close to the value 100), since otherwise, we do not have good quality
and this can be a problem.
EMG: Electromyography signal power in a frequency band.
BSR (Burst suppression rate): Percentage of time with isoelectric EEG in a window of 30
seconds.
NEG: Negative Impedance
REF: Reference impedance
POS: Positive Impedance
