25. Respiration Monitoring
Description of warning and caution
WARNING: Use VM15 only for supervising the respiration. Do not use it for supervising sleep
apnea.
WARNING: Respiration function is very sensitive with electronic wave. Incorrect measured
value may occur due to the above reason. Do not judge the status of the patient only with
the respiration figure and wave.
WARNING: When the user changes the electrode, the size and shape of ECG wave may be
changed.
WARNING: Check whether there are any equipment to influence the electronic wave when
the measured value is not normal or is suspected not from the human body
General
ECG respiration use ECG cable for detection.
Detects the patient respiration when use 3 or 5 LEADs.
The wave and figures are displayed by measuring and calculating the change of chest
impedance when the patient respires.
Function to nice that the chest is moving.
Setup Connection
Get the information through ECG Electrode.
Refer to ECG Section 10.3.4 Accessory attaching ways.
