4. Maintenance
Regular Maintenance
Please set the efficient plan for maintenance of the patient monitor and re-use accessories.
The plan should include the regular inspection and general management. The maintenance
should abide by the policies of contamination control department and medical department.
Please check whether the maintenance or up-grading processes have been performed.
WARNING: If the maintenance plan is not performed properly by the hospitals or
organizations, the malfunction or damage may happen.
Please follow the instructions when you check the patient monitor.
⚫ When it has the physical damage, the damage part should be replaced.
⚫ Please check all cord and the damage of the pins in connector. The repair or
replacement should be done by the authorized specialists.
⚫ Please check all insulation status of all cables. Please repair or replace the damaged
or bad cable by the specialists.
⚫ Please contact to Votem Co., Ltd or the Regional Distributors for further information.
General Maintenance
WARNING: disconnect the main unit from the electronic sources before clearing and
sterilization processes.
WARNING: If you do not perform the maintenance instructions, the shape and color of main
case can be changed and may occurs the troubles.
The patient monitor needs the regular maintenance. Please abide by the regulation to
protect any damages.
⚫ Never spray disinfectant directly onto the product. It can be cause of products failure
or safety hazard.
⚫ The detergent should be diluted with the instruction of the manufacturer.
⚫ After cleaning, the detergent should be removed with the dried cloth.
⚫ Do not use any cleaning materials which include wax.
⚫ Do not pour the water or other cleaning detergent directly to the patient monitor.
⚫ The switch, power connector and ventilating part should be protected from any liquids.
