Display Trouble
Table 34-1. Display Problems
Symptoms
Description
Power is not turn on
1. Check with AC Power Sources
2. Press the power button for 3 seconds.
The sudden power off during
operation.
1. Check the battery if it is completely discharged.
2. Check AC power source.
When Power off does
not work.
1. Check ‘power off” message on the screen after pressing the power button
for 1~ 2 seconds.
2. Turn off the monitor with force => press the hole of Power Off with sharp
instrument like ball point pen. (The RESET hole in STD1 is also in the TM.)
Abnormal Waves
1. Check the equipments with high magnetic field near the monitor.
2. Check the cable connection.
3. Check the ground.
When the message “Module is
not connected” is displayed on
the screen
VM15 STD1
If the TM is separated, the corresponding phrase is output.
Please connect TM.
VM15 STD2
Service may be required.

ECG / RESPIRATION Measurement Trouble

No display “LEAD FAULT”
Message
1. Check ECG cable and the gel at electrode.
2. Check with other ECG cable
No ECG WAVE
1. Check the cable connection
2. Check the damage of ECG cable
Noise on Waves
1. Check the electrode attached to the patient.
SpO2 Measurement Trouble (VOTEM)

Symptoms
Description
Unstable Measurement of SpO2
1. Check the strong lights around the patient monitor.
2. Check the red light of the senor blinkers or no light. (bad probe)
3. Check the reason to prevent the blood flow.
4. example : Check SpO2 sensor is installed at the same arm which is under
measuring blood pressure. And check the sensor is installed too long
time to the patient.
5. Check installation is proper.
6. Check whether the patient is trembling or any pressure to the sensor.
7. Check any damage to the sensor
