Monitoring (Option)
Description of warning and caution
WARNING: Allow only the authorized staff with knowledge use CO2 module.
WARNING: Watch carefully the sampling line to decrease the danger or being tangled with
the patient.
WARNING: Abide by the dumping regulation of medical equipments in regional area.
(Nomoline Family sampling lines)
WARNING: Use Airway T-adapter only when the sampling point is located in the middle of
adapter.
WARNING: Do not use T-adapter with infant at the free space (7ml) of patient circuit.
WARNING: Do not use metered dose inhaler or atomizing medicine with CO2 module. The
bacteria filter may block.
WARNING: Air is necessary for Zeroing. ( 21%, O2, 0% CO2). Put CO2 module at the area
with good ventilation.
Do not breath near CO2 Module when Zeroing is on processing.
WARNING: Do not sterilize CO2 module with liquid or not put CO2 Module into liquid.
WARNING: Mobile phone and portable RF communication devices can influence the
measurement value. Check the electronic surroundings as described on the manual.
WARNING: CO2 module is only for monitoring the vital sign of the patient. Use it together
with other clinical symptom and the other judgement of the symptoms.
WARNING: No revision is allowed without any written consent from the manufacturer.
If the equipment is revised, the proper inspection and test should be done for the continuous
safe operation.
WARNING: CO2 Module is not designed for MRI surrounding
WARNING: VM15 should be located at different space with MRI while MRI is operating.
WARNING: Incorrect measurement value may occur or be interfered when high frequency
electro surgical unit is operating.
WARNING: Strong scavenging suction pressure may influence the sample flow.
WARNING: Ventilation gas is to return to patient circuit or scavenging system.
WARNING: Use bacteria filter to the side of ventilation port to protect the infection of the
patient. Do Respiration again if it is for sample gas.
