8. How to operate VM15
Description of warning and caution
WARNING: The patient monitor is for monitoring of Patient’s vital sign
information. For the exact diagnoses, the general judgment with other clinical
information is needed.
WARNING: Do not use the patient monitor when MRI is on operation because
the damage of the patient or the burn of the patient may occur because of an
induced current.
WARNING: The patient monitor can be used with Defibrillator. ( Unstable figure
value for a few seconds after operation)
WARNING: Do not use with others equipments to the patient at the same time
for the safety of the patient.
WARNING: For accurate measurements and safe use of the equipment should
verify that the correct function and performance are operated by regular
checks.
WARNING: When the product has been moved, make sure to turn it off and
arrange the accessories in order. Injured cords or cables may cause fire or
electric shock.
WARNING: The computerized ECG analysis should be judged by qualified
medical professionals, and t should not be the sole basis in determining
necessity of treatment for the patient.
WARNING: VM15 can be used alongside with defibrillator while the accuracy
of the product may be fallen in a short time
WARNING: Do not use batteries beyond those specified in this manual.
Do not short-circuit the battery and does not heat, integrate, or dispose of it in
a fire.
WARNING: When using electrosurgical units (ESU), patient leads should be
placed in a position that is equal distance from the Electrosurgery electrotome
and the grounding plate to avoid burns to the patient. Never entangle the ESU
cable and the ECG cable together. ( high-frequency surgical )
WARNING: Do not use for any purpose other than patient monitoring.
