5. Introduction
WARNING: The patient monitor provides the vital signals of the patients. For the exact
diagnosis, the general judgement needs additionally the obtained information from other
clinical information.
Intended Use for the VM15
VM15 is a high-performance patient monitoring device for measuring ECG
(electrocardiogram), HR(Heart Rate), PR(Pulse Rate), NIBP (Noninvasive Blood pressure),
SpO2 (Pulse Oximeter), IBP(Invasive Blood Pressure), RR(Respiration Rate),
Temp(Temperature), ST Level in ICU patients. It is a measurement target for adults, pediatric
and neonate patients in hospitals and hospital-related facilities.
Each sensor cable has its own ID color which enable the user to easily connect the sensor
cables.
The weight is 8 kg with all function and battery. The hand grip is designed for the easy
transportation. VM15 can be used during the transportation and ambulance.
About This Manual
The manual explains how to use VM15 and how to set the measuring value for measuring
the vital signs of the patient.
Please read the manual before use.
Sort of VM15
VM15 is divided into VM15 STD1 (hereinafter referred to as STD1) and VM15 STD2
(hereinafter referred to as STD2).
STD1 has a detachable transport module and 4.3 inch LCD output is possible as an auxiliary
output. Also, Gain and Speed can be adjusted in Main.
In STD2, ECG, SpO2, NIBP, RESP, and 1Temp are fixed on the screen, and the transport module
cannot be detached and there is no 4.3 inch LCD.
In the manual, if it applies only to one option of a specific function, it is separately marked as
“ NOTE”.
Features for the VM15
Physical/Mechanical
VM15 are the multi-function measuring equipment and provide the users with the vital
signs information.
In addition, it is a product that can be used as a built-in battery when AC power cannot be
connected.
