Please clean the display screen with the clear cloths wet with washing liquid. Do not spray
the washing liquid directly to the screen.
Maintenance for Accessories
WARNING: Please abide by the safety regulation and reference to maintain the cable and
lead line supplied with the patient monitor.
Pleaser maintain the optional accessories and basic cables with the following
Instructions.
Maintain after disconnection from transportation tools or system.
When you clear the cable or lead line, the cloth wet with an aqueous solution mixed
with neutral detergent can be used after removing the water and dry.
When cleaning typical cables and lead wires, wipe them with a cloth slightly moistened
with a mild detergent solution. Then dry the water.
Do not put the end part of cable or lead line into the liquids. It may cause the corrosion
or may cause wrong signals.
Do not use oven, direct sunlight, or hot-air blower when you dry the patient monitor.
How to Maintain Battery
CAUTION: Please abide by the regulations of the related country when you dump or reuse
the battery.
Please, when storing the VM15's equipment for more than 3 months, it is recommended to
remove the battery by a fully trained administrator before storage.
Note: The battery charging time is about 12 hours when the VM15 is powered off.
How to Keep the Patient Monitor
Keep the VM15 and additional items at the cool, good ventilating, dried place.
Keep the cable and lead line in vertical lines not to be twisted. Do not wind them into other
medical equipment.
WARNING
Avoid placing in an area exposed to moisture.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
Avoid placing in an area where there is a high variation of temperature.
