20. After truck has departed, raise dump hopper (17) to
transfer all material out of hopper. Momentarily
turn on vibrator (18) to help loosen material stuck
to hopper.
NOTICE: Empty dump hopper after each load to help
keep material from cooling and building up in the
hopper.
21. Lower dump hopper and turn off vibrator.
22. After machine is warmed up, adjust elevator and
conveyor speeds to keep paver hopper or paver
hopper insert at least 2/3 full. The best practice is to set elevator at a speed that does not require
starting and stopping the elevator multiple times for each truck.
