8. Press and hold Distance From Paver Control
Engage/Disengage Button (9) until transfer vehicle
moves.
The following screen will appear on electronic
display.
9. Once Distance From Paver Control is activated and
transfer vehicle has begun to move, release Distance
From Paver Control Engage/Disengage Button.
The “Set Distance” parameter is established. The
Distance From Paver Control System is now
controlling the distance between the transfer vehicle
and the paver.
During operation ensure the Distance From Paver Control Sensor remains aimed at the
Distance From Paver Control Target. If sensor loses contact with the target, desired “Set
Distance” between the transfer vehicle and paver will not be maintained.
10. To disengage Distance From Paver Control System, press and release Distance From Paver
Control Engage/Disengage Button (9). This will turn off the system and return manual control of
transfer vehicle to the operator. Ground speed of machine is now controlled by the Propel Lever
and Propel Speed Dial.
WARNING
Machine may move erratically if a person or object is between the Distance
From Paver Control Sensor and target or if sensor is misaligned with
target. Death or serious injury possible if struck or crushed by machine.
Do not enter area between sensor and target. Turn Distance From Paver
Control System off when moving conveyor away from target. Keep others
away.
