Theory of Operation
Transfer/Fusing/Exit
When the sheet passes the registration section it then passes through the toner
transfer position. There it is nipped between the transfer belt and the Transfer
Roller that are driven by the Main Drive Assembly. The toner image on the transfer
belt is transferred onto the sheet. As the sheet is forwarded to the exit section, the
toner image is fused onto the sheet surface by the heat roller that is driven by the
Main Drive Assembly.
At the exit section, the sheet is ejected by the Fuser’s exit roller. The exit roller is
driven by the Main Drive Assembly.
