6.3 Triggering on an Edge Trigger
Procedure
EDGE Menu
Press EDGE to open one of the menus shown below. The menu that opens varies depending on the
specified trigger source.
When the Trigger Source Is a Channel from CH1 to CH4
When the Window Comparator Is Off
Set the trigger source (CH1-CH4).
Set the trigger slope ( , ).
Set the trigger coupling (AC, DC).
Set the HF rejection (OFF, 20 MHz, 15 kHz).
Set the hysteresis ( , ).
Set the trigger level (with the LEVEL knob).
Turn the window comparator off.
When the Window Comparator Is On
Set the trigger source (CH1-CH4).
Set the trigger slope (Enter, Exit).
Set the trigger coupling (AC, DC).
Set the HF rejection (OFF, 20 MHz, 15 kHz).
Set the hysteresis ( , ).
Set the window width (using the jog shuttle).
Turn the window comparator on.
Set the window center point (using the jog shuttle or the LEVEL knob).
