CAUTION:If the message “PORT 1: UNABLE TO GO ONLINE ... COMM STATUS” displays,
repeat Step 1.
NOTE:If procedure fails, check cable wiring according to Figure 3-88, Page-3-167. If problem
persists, perform IP-17 and IP-21.
11.Change Baud Rate to 1200.
a.Press
[F3]
and wait 20 seconds.
b.Verify 1200 Baud Rate is displayed.
c.To keep existing Barcode settings, continue with Step 12.
d.To change Barcode settings to default values, press
[F3]
again.
System beeps.
12.Edit Barcode parameters.
NOTE:System responds slowly. Observe screen while entering commands and confirm
acceptance by system.
