NOTE If two or more spectrum components are involved at a similar level, it is necessary to use a
filter in order to prevent unnecessary spectrum components from entering the receiver port;
in this way, you can prevent the total magnitude from reaching a damage level of 6.3 Vp-p.
Procedure for setting measurement parameters
Follow the steps below to set the measurement parameters. In this case, we measure each
parameter of magnitude, phase, and group delay in conversion loss (S12).
Step 1. Press (or ) to activate the channel you want to measure.
Step 2. Press to set Num of Traces to 3.
Step 3. Press Allocate Traces to select the Graph Layout ( ).
Step 4. Press to set the measurement parameter to S12.
Step 5. Press to set LogMag (magnitude) to Trace 1.
Step 6. Press to select Trace 2.
Step 7. Press to set the measurement parameter to S12.
Step 8. Press to set Phase (phase) to Trace 2.
Step 9. Press to select Trace 3.
Step 10. Press to set the measurement parameter to S12.
