1. Ensure spinner dome has been installed. (See “Install Spinner Dome” on page 16-106.)
2. Remove the top engine cowl only. (See “Remove Engine Cowlings” on page 16-13.)
3. Install accelerometer (vibration sensor) onto the gearbox per Propeller Balance System manual.
Ensure sensor is secured tightly and oriented vertically. See Figure 16-59 as an installation
example.
