Avoiding extraneous noise
IfaudiocablesareconnectedtoAUDIOINPUTS1–
4,anynoisecarriedbythecableswillenterintothe
OASYSmixerstructure.Similarly,theS/P DIFinput
maycarrynoisefromexternaldevices.Thismay
includehiss,hum,andotheraudionoise.
Toavoidnoisefromunusedaudioinputs,either:

input’sLevelto0
or
•SetallofthebusassignmentstoOff,includingBus
Select(IFX/Indiv.OutAssign),RECBus,andFX
ControlBus
IfnoaudiocablesareconnectedtoAUDIOINPUTS
1–4,theinputsignalsareforcedtozero,preventing
anyadditionalnoise.
Audio Track Mixer
Youcanspecifytheaudiosourcetorecordfrom,and
changethePlay/Mutestatus,SOLOstatus,pan,and
volumeforplayback.
REC Source
Thisselectsthesourcethatwillberecordedonthe
track.Thesignalofthebuslineyouspecifyherewillbe
