controllertolowertheRecordingLevelslider
(locatedintherightsideofthedisplay)below+0.0
toanappropriatelevel.
Ifthebalancebetweeninstrumentsisnottoyour
liking,usetheLEVELknobortheperformance
editor“A m p Level”toadjustthebalance.

In-Track Sampling
Whenyousampleanexternalaudiosourcewhile
listeningtothesongplayback,theIn‐TrackSampling
functionautomaticallycreatestheappropriatenote
datainatrack.
Whenyouplaybackthesong,theautomatically‐
creatednotedatawilltriggerthemultisamplethatwas
automaticallyconvertedtoaprogram.
Inthisexample,
we’llshowthesoundofaguitar
connectedtotheAUDIOINPUT1jackcanbeaddedto
yoursong.
1. InSequencermode,selectthesongtowhichyou
wanttoaddtheguitarsound.
Youcaneithercreateasong,oruseDiskmodeto
loadapreviously‐createdsong.

yourguitartotherearpanelAUDIO

PresstheAUDIOINPUTMIC/LINEswitchinward
toselecttheLINEposition,andsettheLEVELknob
ataboutthecenter.
Ifyouconnectaguitarwithpassivepickups(i.e.,a
guitarthatdoesnotcontainapreamp),youwillbe
unabletosampleitatthecorrectlevelbecauseofthe
impedancemismatch.Suchguitarsshouldbe
routedthroughapreamporaneffectunit.
