MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
5. Remove the radiator cap and op en radiator drain valve
(A) at the bottom of the engine side of the radiator
lower tank.
IMPORTANT:
Place a drain pan (about 8 U.S. gallons [30 liters]) under
the engine and radiator and use a deflectororhoseto
prevent coolant running onto frame.

6. Close the h
eater shut-off valve and disconnect hose on
heater sid
eofvalve.
7. Open valve
to drain the block.
8. When syst
em is drain ed, rea ttach hose on valve.

10. Fill sy
stem with clean water through the radiator and
replac
e radiator cap.
