IMPORTANT
:
Foreign m
aterial such as dirt, dust, and water is the major cause of trouble in the hydraulic system.
If hydrau
lic system components m ust be disconnected for service, protect the ends of hoses, tubing, and
ports of c
omponents from contamination with clean, lint-free towels, or clean plastic bags.
Before in
stalling any repla cement hose, flush the inside with unused diesel fuel or unused commercial
petrole
um cleaning solvent for ten seconds minimum. Do NOT use water, water soluble cleaners, or
compres
sed air.
The hydr
aulic system components are built to very close tolerances and have been adjusted at the factory.
Do NOT at
tempt to service these components except to maintain proper oil level, change oil and filters , and
to ad ju
st relief pressures as described in this manual.
See you
r MacDon Dealer for all other service.
Checking and Filling Hydraulic Oil
