A role of tissue ribbon is enclosed in a cassette. For each ink two cassettes (labeled L and R) are
available to clean the nozzle plate. When the tissue ribbons in the L or R cassettes are used up,
the cassettes must be replaced.

[293] Automatic printhead maintenance
A. Starting up the printer. Awaking from sleep mode starts with a wet tissue wipe when the last
wet tissue wipe was longer than eight hours ago.
B. Going to sleep mode. When the sleep mode is activated—by a user or the sleep mode timer—a
wet tissue wipe occurs.
