What is the minimum print gap
The printheads can move up and down in vertical direction above the print belt. The minimum
print gap is the distance between the top of the sheet and the nozzle plate.

Increasing or decreasing the minimum print gap parameter

Decreasing the minimum print gap parameter can improve the print quality. Take into account
that a smaller print gap can cause more sentry rejections.

that a larger print gap can cause streaks.
Adjust the minimum print gap parameter
A custom media print mode is a media print mode that has been created with the [Copy media
print mode] function. ( Define a media print mode on page 277)
1. Select a custom media print mode.
