You perform the test with media that have been calibrated just before the color validation.

Print cleaning sheets before the test charts
1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Color]→[Color validation & verification].

2. Click [Configure].

3. Use the [Print cleaning sheets before test charts] function to indicate if you want to print
cleaning sheets before the charts are printed.

Print the target charts
1. Calibrate the media family of the target media. (

2. Load and assign approximately 10 sheets of the target media in one of the paper trays.
3. Touch [System]→[Media].
4. Select the target media.
5. Touch [Validate].
