6.3.1.6 ip default-gateway
This command sets the IP Address of the default gateway.
Syntax
ip default-gateway <gateway>
no ip default-gateway
< gateway > - IP address of the default gateway
no - Restore the default IP address of the default gateway
Default Setting
IP address: 0.0.0.0

This command specifies the network configuration protocol to be used. If you modify this value, the
change is effective immediately.
Syntax
ip address dhcp [restart]
<dhcp> - Obtains IP address from DHCP.
<restart> - To restart the DHCP process.
