Appendix E

Compressed ASCII Commands

Overview

The SEL-351A Relay provides Compressed ASCII versions of some of the

relay ASCII commands. The Compressed ASCII commands allow an external

device to obtain data from the relay, in a format which directly imports into

spreadsheet or database programs, and which can be validated with a

checksum.

NOTE: VS and VDC values are

removed from the SEL-351A-1

Compressed ASCII commands.
