System programming mode using a PC
Issues concerning changes to the default password
Access to the system’s programming mode is protected by password to prevent unauthorized
access.
To change the default password (31994) you must enter programming mode:
● Programming extension: * 95 +31994 + 80 + XXXXX(new password) + XXXXX (confirm
new password)
● Make a note of the new password and store it in a safe place.
7.2 System programming mode using a PC
The system CD contains the software packages required for installation with a PC (see “HiPath
1100 applications” on page 7-333).
Basic hardware requirements:
● IBM-type PC, Pentium processor 333 MHz (minimum)
● 128 MB RAM (minimum)
● Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows ME or Windows XP
● SVGA Color Monitor, 800x600 resolution (minimum)
● Free disk space: 150 MB (minimum).
If you forget your password, you can use the following code sequence to regain ac-
cess for programming:
● # + 95 + 31994431.
