Reset the ADSL modem to system default when you need to recover default settings. This may
be necessary when the customer’s configuration does not work as expected, when you want to
configure new settings or when the router does not appear to be working properly.
7.4.4.5 COMGATE
To use the new ADSL module in systems older than HiPath V7.0 (i.e. V6.0 and V5.2), you need
to use COMGATE mode. This mode allows the module to be accessed in the same way in
systems that predate HiPath V7.0.
This option resets all the custom configurations, users and passwords on your mo-
dem.
