Enabling the Spanning Tree Protocol
To enable STP on the switch, use the SPANNING-TREE STP ENABLE
command in the Global Configuration mode. Here is the command:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# spanning-tree stp enable
The switch immediately begins to send BPDUs from its ports to participate
in the spanning tree domain.
